EPA and the ban on the uses of asbestos

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or sometimes USEPA) is an agency of the Federal Government of the United States charged with the protection of human health and the natural environment: air, water and land. The EPA met on 2 December 1970.

In June 2009, the Federal Environmental Protection Agency, EPA invoked powers in 1980 for the first time and announced a public health emergency.
